Science for all, seriously!

Here's the thing: everyone should have a chance to learn about science.

I think, because of the way that academia works and the number of insane science-y words that are in every single paper that gets published, the science community has totally excluded the general public from science.

And quite frankly: I think that's bullsh*t.

What's the point of doing science unless it's applicable? And how can it ever be applied unless people from outside of academia and industry can understand what the heck is going on?

Plus, what about the people who LOVE science but just decided they didn't want to dive into it any further than just letting it be an interest?

Just because you don't have a degree in science doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to participate in it. And that's what this blog is for.

I’m so excited to share the wide world of science with all of you. So, without further ado, lets get this thing started.
